NEWS EDITS was the first news gathering company to land in Port-au-Prince, the morning after the Earthquake that devastated Haiti.
NEWS EDITS deployed a 1.8m KU Band 400-watt dual path Fly-Away System at Port-au-Prince Airport, including cameras and crew.
One transmission path was operated 24 hours a day exclusively for Reuters News Coverage. Another Transmission path, in partnership with INTELSAT Special Events team, operated day and night providing live shots and play-out transmissions for TV Networks all over the World.
